    About Positions

    Positions is an interactive tool for mapping intellectual positions on a canvas — figures, ideas, and the directional relationships between them. Each figure gets an AI-generated scholarly profile and can be visited in character to discuss their work.

    Two modes — Discipline (single field) or Wayfare (multi- disciplinary) — and a conversational AI Cartographer, with three personas (Detective, Historian, Curator), to help you explore, suggest figures, and refine the map.
